•    Your host can restrict or ban some of the files that you host on their server as the users should not get them and the extra bandwidth should not be used. This is because if your site is a big one and have lot of images and audio video files so if users will open it then lot of bandwidth will be required. So many host ban these type of files so as to limit the bandwidth and in this way you can face heavy loss as many of your customers will leave you.
•    This trick is also followed by new hosts as they offer you ‘unlimited’ and when they become helpless then they run with your money. This happens with the lot of bandwidth consumption and when their server gets down then they run.
•    You will also find some host that will offer unlimited bandwidth offer till your site do not cross the given limit say if the limit is of 5Gb of bandwidth but as your site will get many customers then your host will start charging you for the extra consumption.

So you should be aware with the fact that you only get what you need and what you pay for. So do not get attracted towards these offers that are only the tricks of the host just to get more customers. So do not get attracted towards the offers of unlimited as indirectly you will pay more or you will loose your clients. So always prefer the host that offers you good infrastructure and best network and provide you best of his services and can help you sometimes and should also provide good environment so your site get development and should grow with demand.
